Waters affinity to hold oxygen is diminished the warmer it is so adding air or surface area with an aerator, or a splashing fountain increases the water surface area of the pond and helps add that extra bit of oxygen! New project time! Up in Cardiff for this one converting a sunken patio into an ecosystem pond, here we go!! From leaky, overgrown and bare liner to a beautiful natural looking stillwater wildlife feature on the Gower 🥰 50m of rotten wooden edging disposed off and replaced with corTEN in Gower. Lovely!
